West of the city limits of Weatherford, TX (25 miles West of Ft Worth): Betsy Freeman photographed what appears to be a true albino hummingbird in her backyard (8/10/2016). Photographs below.

Texas, Baytown (the Beach City area of Texas along the Trinity Bay) (September 14, 2015). White hummingbirds reported, with photo, by Tricia Cherry. She mentions that this white hummer was a repeat visitor. It first appeared in Tricia’s backyard in the fall of 2013.

San Antonio – 5/21/14 – A photo was taken and submitted by Ginny Rivera of a Pied / Partial White Hummingbird that is believed to be a Black-chinned Hummingbird (female or juvenile)
Corpus Christi (9-30-13 until 10-2-13): Leucistic Hummingbird photographed and this partial white hummingbird has also been filmed by Judy Hodgkins (judyrspan@gmail.com).
Rod and Gin Club Road, Spicewood, TX – Denny Bahm and Lori Ellis photographed a pied hummingbird (displaying an absence of melanin in some feathers creating white patches). It is believed to be the leucistic form of a juvenile Black-chinned Hummingbird. (9/17-9/18/2013)

College Station – Teresa Gorham (gorhamtl@aol.com) reported a pied leucistic hummingbird at her feeder. (9/11/2013)
Dekalb – Leucistic hummingbird reported by Renee and Vanessa Crawford [twoguns1772@yahoo.com) on 9/3/2013.
She described this hummingbird as “white with what looks like black on the tail and some on the wings. It has a black beak.” and states that “[T]he white hummingbird has been around for about a month now.” According to Vanessa, “The other humming birds will let me get close to them, but this one will not. It sees me and it takes off. So I’m pretty sure it’s got good eye sight. It will not fight with the other humming birds.”
