The Antipodes Red-Fronted Parakeets (Cyanoramphus hochstetteri, previously Cyanoramphus novaezelandiae hochstetteri) – from the Antipodes Island (one of New Zealand’s southern remote, bleak and inhospitable subantarctic islands) – are more commonly known as Reischek’s Parakeets.
