The Baker’s Imperial Pigeon, aka Vanuatu Imperial Pigeon (Ducula bakeri), is endemic to Vanuatu, where it inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and montanes. This species is threatened by habitat loss. It is named after the British Zoologist John Randal Baker.
