The Banded Cotinga (Cotinga maculata) is a South American endemic that is found in south-eastern Brazil. This species is threatened by habitat loss.
Tropical moist lowland forests.
Diet / Feeding
These cotingas feed mainly on fruit.
The males have colorful plumage. The females are much duller than males and are mainly brown.
