The Black-billed Koel (Eudynamys melanorhynchus) is a cuckoo that is endemic to forest and woodland on the Indonesian islands of Sulawesi, Sula, Banggai, Togian and other smaller nearby islands.
It has often been considered conspecific with the Asian Koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus), but is increasingly treated as a separate species.
The Black-billed Koel differs from all other members of the common koel complex as it has a pale bill.
