The Brown Bullfinch (Pyrrhula nipalensis) is a little-known finch. It is endemic to Bhutan, China, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. They are usually seen in pairs or groups.

The Brown Bullfinch is relatively small averaging 16.5 cm in length. It has a greyish head, nape and breast.
