The Caspian Plover (Charadrius asiaticus) is found in central Asia, mainly to the north and east of the Caspian Sea. They migrate south to winter in east Africa and may wander into Western Europe or Australia.

Description
Summer (breeding) plumage:
Grey-brown back, white face and belly, chestnut breast bordered black below.
Winter plumage:
Grey-brown breast band.
Similar Species:
Slightly larger than Ringed Plover,.
More slender and longer-legged than sandplovers, and has a much stronger white supercilium (line above eye), and a long thin bill. Also lacks white tail sides and a weak wing bar.

The Caspian Plover’s call is described as a sharp chip.
