Frontal band / Definition:

The feathers right above a bird’s cere (nose) is commonly referred to as “frontal band.”

 


 

Narrow Frontal Band:

The Blue-winged Grass Parakeet has a blue frontal band reaching from forehead to eye. Please refer to photo below:
