Green Oropendolas

The Green Oropendola (Psarocolius viridis) is generally common in its wooded habitats that are found in the Amazon and Guianas of South America; specifically Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.

Description

Unlike the other oropendolas species, the Green Oropendola has a pale bill with an orange tip.

Diet / Feeding

The bulk of its diet consists mainly of insects, lizards and fruit.
