The Large Cuckoo-shrike, Coracina macei, is found in south and south east Asia. They tend to fly just above the forest canopy and have a characteristic habit of shrugging their closed wings shortly after landing on a perch.



This species is mostly insectivorous.

They have a loud call Klu-eep.
