The Malagasy Coucal or Madagascar Coucal (Centropus toulou) is cuckoo found in Madagascar, the Comoros (including Mayotte) and the Seychelles where it occurs on Aldabra and formerly on Assumption Island and Cosmoledo.
It inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and mangrove forests.
