Parrotlets are amongst the smallest parrots in the world and are often referred to as “Pocket Parrots” as pet birds fit neatly into their owner’s pockets and are always ready to climb into one.
They occur naturally in Central and South America, where these social birds are usually seen in flocks of up to 100 of them.
