Petrels
The Pycroft’s Petrel (Pterodroma pycrofti) is a seabird found in Japan, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, the United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and Wallis and Futuna Islands. It breeds only in New Zealand, nesting only on Stephenson, Poor Knights Islands, Hen and Chickens Islands, and Mercury Islands.
It inhabits temperate forests, temperate shrubland and open seas.
