Streaked Bowerbirds

The Streaked Bowerbirds (Amblyornis subalaris) are found in southeastern New Guinea.

They measure about 22 cm in length and have a mostly olive-brown plumage. The male has a short orange crest.

The male will mate with several females. He alone builds the nest out of sticks. The hut-shaped nest has two entrances.
