Vet rules in Michigan
A vet must have recently examined your bird in person before treating it by video. This rule is waived in an emergency. A bill to allow video-first visits passed the Michigan House in 2025 but was not law when we checked.
Visit the Michigan Board of Veterinary Medicine website and use its license search.
