Vet rules in Maine
Rules on video vet visits in this state are not clear. Ask your vet. Maine law requires a vet relationship but does not define how it starts. The board's 2020 guidance said a vet should do the first exam before relying on video visits.
Visit the Maine State Board of Veterinary Medicine website and use its license search.
