The Golden-plumed Conure / Parakeet aka Branicki’s Conure (Leptosittaca branickii) is a small Andean conure that is endemic to Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and plantations.
Ths conure is threatened by habitat loss in its natural habitat and is not found in aviculture. Its continued existence is very much at stake.
